Vision

By 2050, Peoria will be known as a community where poverty has significantly declined because Christian fathers are empowered, respected, and encouraged as leaders of their families in which will create a culture that supports stable homes, healthy relationships, and generational progress.

Mission

The Fatherhood Network builds community understanding that Fathers of Faith are essential to a healthy society. It does so by providing strategic guidance and nominal funding to churches and community organizations that designate a “Fatherhood Network Point Person”—a leader passionate about equipping and uplifting Christian fathers. Through these partnerships, the Network promotes upstream, father-centered solutions to the intertwined issues of teen pregnancy, failing educational outcomes, unemployment, and poverty.
Each sponsored organization develops a mission statement that aligns with the Fatherhood Network’s goals, centered around guiding, supporting, recognizing, and loving Christian fathers as they lead their families out of poverty.
